Calla Llonga

CATHEDRAL - CALA LLONGA

One of the most sought after dives on the east coast of the island. A short 15-minute boat ride will take you to Cala Llonga Beach. At the entrance of Cala on the south side you will find the cathedral. After a depth of 15 meters, you will swim along the wall until you find the entrance to the cave at a maximum depth of 8 meters. As you enter, you will find that it is a huge cave where you can get in and out. There is a large air pocket in the cave where you can remove your mask and regulator. Here you will find stalactites and amazing rock formations. On leaving the cathedral you will notice the enormous contrast between the darkness of the cave and the crystal clear waters of the Mediterranean.
